Mois de mars prometteur interrompu par le confinement
L’équipe Espoirs, a participé à la Ronde de Montauroux le 1er mars 2020, qui devait être l’occasion de retrouver de la confiance et le gout de la victoire. La course qui était animée par les Monégasques par de nombreuses tentatives d’échappée. Le groupe a rempli l’objectif : chez les Espoirs, Adam Karl et Alexis Roche termine sur la première et la deuxième marche du podium. Marc Mehagnoul se classe respectivement sur la troisième marche du podium.
Durant le début de saison, les coureurs Espoirs de l’UC Monaco avaient à cœur d’être acteurs de la course espagnol, le Trophée “Joan Escola“ le 7 Mars 2020. Après plusieurs tentatives de l’équipe, afin de se glisser dans un groupe d’échappée, c’est donc un peloton réduit et groupé dans lequel était toujours présent une bonne partie de l’équipe, qui a su rester souder afin d’emmener notre sprinter, Adam Karl au sprint.
N’ayant pas pu suivre l’échappée de deux coureurs de la formation dAix-en-Provence, notre sprinter a pu s’imposer sur le sprint du peloton en terminant avec une belle troisième place.
The first part of March ending with the quarantine
The U23 team, participated in the Ronde de Montauroux on March 1st, 2020, which was to be the opportunity to regain confidence and some spirit of victory.The race was animated by the Monegasques with numerous breakaway attempts. The group fulfilled the goal: in the U23 category, Adam Karl and Alexis Roche finished on the first and second step of the podium. Marc Mehagnoul finished on the third step of the podium respectively.
During the beginning of the season, the UC Monaco's U23 riders had their heart set on being actors in the Spanish race, the "Joan Escola" Trophy on 7 March 2020. After several attempts by the team to slip into a breakaway group, it was therefore a small, bunched bunch in which a good part of the team was still present, which managed to stay together in order to take our sprinter, Adam Karl, to the sprint. Not having been able to follow the breakaway of two riders of the Aix en Provence team, our sprinter was able to win the bunch sprint and finish with a nice third place.
